Amy Gumenick is an honors graduate from the University of California, Santa Barbara where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in theater with an emphasis in acting. While at UCSB, she performed in over 17 theatrical productions and originated many roles. Soon after graduating, Amy began landing lead roles in film and television. She is a co-founder and director of the Junior Pretenders at The Pretenders Studio in Los Angeles and YES Theater Ensemble, a theater program designed for low income, high risk teenagers in the Santa Barbara area. She is also a founding member of The Pretenders Theater Company and Theatricians Theater Group, both based in LA. Amy has trained in dance, theater, voice and movement locally and across California since she was five years old.
