Paula Christensen hails from New York City, where she has had the pleasure of training extensively in theater and dance with many of Broadway's top industry professionals. A firm believer in the importance of the arts in early education, Paula created and helmed an after school arts program at Chatsworth Public Elementary School in Westchester, NY when she was just sixteen years old. There she produced, choreographed and directed full-scale musical productions that featured more than 80 grade school children. That was the beginning of a life-long commitment to bringing quality arts education to students of all ages. She received her B.A. in Theater and Dance, and Anthropology, graduating with top honors from Amherst College, before moving on to complete the Shakespeare Conservatory Program at the prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. She has taught extensively throughout New York and L.A., and continues to perform professionally on both stage and screen.

Paula’s mother Silvia Christensen, a well accomplished Flamenco and Ballet dancer and highly experienced teacher from Argentina co-teaches the Flamenco classes with her.
